Center fielder Matt Kemp touched them all and had 2 RBI as the Streator Reds
defeated the Jefferson Park Penguins by a score of 2 to 1 at the
ballpark.
Sean West(1-1) pitched a solid game. He allowed 5 hits and 3 walks in 7 and
1/3 innings reducing his ERA from 3.86 to 2.25. The pitchers took over after
the 2nd inning as neither team was able to score again.
West got help from Kerry Wood who earned his 3rd save. Ryan
